This picture was taken when I came home with my brand new convertible, I still don't know who that lady was who hopped in at the traffic lights but it sure wasn't easy to get rid of her
Visiting California for the first time my buddy and I stumbled on this party of pretty girls. The next day they invited us to this bikini contest where they made us guest of honour. You won't believe what happened at the after-party :-)
At that party I chatted with this girl Monica and via her I met Bill. We had some good discussions over dinner and he offered me this job of vice president. I tried it for one day but it's not all that, so I asked if he couldn't find somebody else, fortunately for me he did.
Being Dutch means that I've seen my share of cows. In Dodge City they had this silly game ,called a rodeo, where you had to stay put on one for just a few seconds. I still don't know what's the big deal about it but we sure had a good laugh.
In Hollywood I went to this movie premiere when I met Brad. Because he had to do a lot of interviews he asked me to take care of his lady for a few hours. Jenny and I are still good friends, we keep in touch via mail mostly. Oceans apart *sigh*
I stayed in Hollywood a little longer then planned because they kept asking me to jump in on several occasions. In this case they needed me as replacement for Cpt Picard after he got in a fight with the photographer.
I don't see the challenge in skiing. Wintersport can be so much more. So I packed my gear and went to Nova Zembla for some real adventure. However, after my second encounter with a polar bear I decided to go back. The risk of having to hurt such a magnificant creature was just too big.
I met Julia in London where she stayed during the shoot of some movie with Hugh Grant. We really hit it off and when they where going to make pictures for the cover for the DVD of "Runaway Bride", she insisted that I replaced Richard. The darling claimed that his face was too old :-)
The wig was out of respect for Richard, he still owes me 20 bucks now I come to think of it.
After that Star Trek thingie I met this guy Al, Pacino I think it was, in a bar. He started braggin about something and then we made a silly bet about something trivial, he lost and then he offered me to take over as "scarface" in a few scenes of a maffia movie. I wonder if that movie ever made it to the big screen
Not much to tell really, just me in conversation with a bedouin when I was trying to find the tomb and mummy of Ank-Bah the 28th in Egypt. I was told to pack some heat just in case, but it wasn't necessary.
In '84 I played a bit with the first personal computers and came up with some very crude operating system. Everybody went crazy and that's why Time magazine did an Interview with me. Some dude offered a few hundred bucks for the code and my company name so I quickly got rid of it. I understand now that he changed the name a bit and got filthy rich with it despite the poor quality
Denzel and I met at the inauguration party of Bill. I told him about my idea for a movie of a young good cop coming in conflict with an older bad undercover cop. he liked it so much that he asked me to do some scenes as a stunt double for the good cop
Because they kept asking me and I can't say no, I fled to Thailand for a short vacation of it all. On one of my hiking trips in the Jungle I found this elephant that clearly escaped from humans too, so I brought it back to the village when this tourist took this picture.
In this picture you can see clearly the surprised looks on our faces (Cameron and me). Damn paparazzi! (Hope leonardo never gets to see this picture)
Those Pixar guys where also very nice. After they met Sas and the kids they had this silly idea of a family of super heros ha, can you picture that ?
